Welcome! As Chicagoans, we love our neighborhoods, and there are a whopping 77 of them. We take pride in our homes, our communities, our amazing lakefront, and we know our neighbors. We love our local parks, tree-lined streets, quaint restaurants, cozy bars, locally-owned stores, and the convenience of walking to all of these places.

Josh Feeney

Hello, I am Josh Feeney, and whether you are moving to Chicago or changing neighborhoods within Chicago, choosing the right neighborhood that truly fits your lifestyle is, in my opinion, the single most important element in home ownership.

After all, location, location, location are the first three rules of real estate. Having lived in Chicago for 22 years, 19 of those as a realtor, I have become intimately familiar with many neighborhoods in Chicago, especially on the North side. I am always stressing to my clients the importance of living in a neighborhood that best suits their needs.I always encourage clients to spend a lot of time in an area that you are considering moving to before actually moving there. While the highlights of any area can be very enticing, it’s the day to day events and feel that should be most compelling to you and your lifestyle.

The majority of my clients over the years, and even I, have chosen to live in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Lakeview is not only one of Chicago’s largest neighborhoods, but also in my opinion one of it’s best. And yes, I am a little biased :-). Real estate wise homes for sale in Lake View average between $300k and $500k depending on the location. The market for a condo for sale can swing drastically based on the condo build and it’s proximity to the lakefront.

Geographically speaking, Lakeview is located right along Lake Michigan, approximately 10-15 minutes north of “downtown” and the Loop. Lakeview, and the sub neighborhoods of East Lakeview, Boystown, West Lakeview, & The Southport Corridor, all of the communities within Lakeview are easily accessed via car on Lakeshore Drive, inner city streets, or just a few stops on either the Red, Brown, or Purple line trains from downtown.

Of course, Lakeview is just one of many Chicago neighborhoods, I would love to talk to you more about Lakeview, or any other neighborhood for that matter. I would love to hear from you!
