West Town is home to Wicker Park, West Town and part of Humboldt Park and is, itself, one of Chicago’s original 77 community neighborhoods. I lived in West Town back in 1990 for a number of years, on the top floor of a 4 story walk up – best exercise ever!

Did you know that German and Eastern European shops abound in West Town, providing residents with unique and exciting opportunities for dining as well as shopping?

The Noble Park fieldhouse and pool are still in full swing. Smith Park is home to an annual dog parade. Foodies will love Tuman’s Tap & Grill (they celebrate National Tequila Day!), Lizzie’s Bake Shoppe (try the one bite truffle cake) and Charlatan (go for the black pepper rigatoni).

No artsy neighborhood would be complete without many excellent coffee spots and my personal favorite is the Star Lounge Coffee Bar.

If you’re looking for more information on the West Town neighborhood, or a realtor to guide you through the various real estate options the area provides, I’d love to talk with you!
