The easternmost fringe of Lincoln Park is just a few steps from the lakefront and the namesake park, which also happens to be the largest park in the city–stretching for 7 miles! Our Favorite Places

I might be just a little bit biased to the neighborhood I’ve called home for 15 years, but home is where the heart is, yes? I love exploring all 77 (and soon to be 78) Chicago neighborhoods and have grown to know (and love) every corner of Lincoln Park. Lake Michigan, Lincoln Park, the bike path, shops, cafes and restaurants; all within a few blocks’ walk. There’s simply no shortage of charming, local spots and here are some of my very favorites:

J9 Wine Bar is a lovely place to end the work day, or to start the weekend festivities. Long time Lincoln Park resident and shop owner, Sonia Mlodzek, serves a perfectly curated list of wine and bubbly, accompanied by cheese and charcuterie. In season, J9 offers a delightful outdoor cafe.

Cafe Babareeba – My daughter and I called Cafe Baba our kitchen away from home for 15+ years. Now we and the team call it our happy hour destination most Friday evenings!

Summer House – I just love Summer House for a quick snack, a family dinner, or local spot to meet up with a client to discuss real estate strategy over a glass of wine.

I LOVE Lori’s Shoes. A beloved neighborhood favorite for 20+ years. My daughter and I have found some of our most loved shoes and accessories at Lori’s and at great prices! Ask for Debbie if you stop in.
