Located on the corner of Augusta and California streets is one of The Dobbs Group’s favorite cafes to frequent for brunch, lunch, and everything in between! Cafe Marie Jeanne is a Parisian style neighborhood gem, featuring sandwiches filled with foie gras and caviar, imported tins of fish, and an extensive wine list. Be sure not to skip their duck frites!
Heritage Caviar Bar is a swanky little eatery located at the cross streets of Chicago Avenue and Washtenaw. Heritage is not your average corner bar– its menu changes frequently, but always touches on a fusion of notes inspired by traditional Polish, Russian, and Korean cuisines. They also offer caviar for their patrons at every price point, from ounces of roe that range from $20-40 all the way up to the pricier gourmet golden osetra caviar that is in the $200/ounce range. Another unique feature at Heritage is their burlesque show and accompanying prix fixe dinner that they host every second Tuesday of the month (reservations are required for the dinner and show!).
