Hopleaf is one of the best bars in the city because of its extensive selection of brews and Belgian-focused dishes. The atmosphere at Hopleaf is lively, bright and welcoming to people from all walks of life and is known amongst beer lovers as one of the best spots to hang and drink brews throughout all of Chicago.
A rising star in Chicago’s culinary scene, Little Bad Wolf has stolen the hearts (and stomachs!) of patrons of the restaurant from near and far. Their menu features a gourmet take on classic comfort food, paired with a beer list of over 100 beers, an extensive whiskey menu, and creative cocktails.
The Swedish American Museum is located directly in the heart of Andersonville, on the corner of Foster and Clark street. It is a popular stop for school field trips and has some very neat interactive exhibits for kids and adults alike.
The Andersonville Farmers Market reinforces Andersonville’s reputation as a self sustainable and eco-friendly, environmentally forward attitude that is embodied in the community. At the Andersonville Farmers Market, patrons can expect to find exquisite hand grown produce, jams, pastries and canned picked goods from local farms.
Irish Pubs and corner bars, like Lady Gregory’s are easy to find every few blocks throughout the neighborhood. Expect to be greeted by a friendly bartender and to enjoy a wide variety of tasty beers offered by these fine establishments.
