Luxury. Great comfort and extravagant living. Luxurious or of the nature of a luxury. Opulence, luxuriousness, sumptuousness, grandeur, magnificence, splendor, lavishness.

What does this mean in the world of real estate and especially when buying condos or homes in Chicago?  We see the word luxury used to describe a condo, home, kitchen, bedroom. Luxury is used in over 60% of copy written to describe a property.  Real Estate brokerage offices have ‘luxury’ divisions within their firms.

One of the most important steps in the home buying process is securing the mortgage. As important as finding the ‘perfect fit’ agent is finding the right lender. As the top individual agent for @properties Chicago, one of the services I offer my clients is an introduction to two of our city’s top mortgage lenders.

I think of luxury as an experience first and foremost.  When working with clients I strive to fine tune my business practices to create a luxury experience based on the client’s individual preferences for communication and presentation of their home.  Defining a luxury home and creating a luxury experience begin with intuitively understanding the client and extend to each moment of client contact; presentation of their home; creation of marketing materials that showcase the property; and throughout the process ensuring my clients take great comfort in how their real estate experience with me unfolds.

The Collection is an example of condos that define the word luxury; exquisite finishes, finely tuned floor plans and found in the premiere condo buildings in Chicago.  I created the concept ‘The Collection’ by Centaur Interiors in collaboration with Michael Miller and his fantastic team of designers and project managers.
