I spend time in Logan Square; showing homes, eating, meeting friends for a cocktails and music, eating… There is something pleasantly contradictory about the gritty urban streetscape and hipster vibe set among towering, leafy trees lining wide boulevards. I love the place!
A few of my favorites stops: Longman & Eagle…voted one of Chicago’s best 100 bars and deservedly so is a top pick for food, drink and hotel. Lula is an old stand by that still has it going on, El Cubanito proves good things do come in very tiny packages.
When I step out on Steve at City Grounds I drive to Logan Square and get my java fix at any number of incredibly good coffee shops; Gaslight, Letizia’s, La Boulangerie…the list is long…and the coffee is always supurb.
I first discovered Logan Square 20 years ago and somehow the neighborhood feels like it has not changed a beat and yet has evolved into its own special place.
