Ukrainian Village was named hottest neighborhood in America 2016! I’ve sold a bunch in UV going back 20+ years. My brother and sister-in-law were also married in St. Nicholas Cathedral.
Did you know that Ukrainian Village, originally farmland, was first settled by German immigrants shortly after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871?
The whole neighborhood has a wonderful, artsy sense of vitality and is just adjacent to Wicker Park, where you will also find some of the best beer joints in Chicago. Don’t miss Ukrainian Days, an annual festival celebrating Ukrainian culture. For specific food spots I strongly recommend A Tavola, Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen and MJ Restaurant. If you’re looking for more information on the Ukrainian Village neighborhood, or a realtor to guide you through the various real estate options the area provides, I’d love to talk with you!
